Mongolish Privacy Policy

Mongolish is a language learning app for Mongolian and English learners. This policy explains what information the app uses, why it is used, and how users can delete their account or guest data.

Information We Collect

Mongolish may store your account email address, guest or session identifiers, learning direction, script preference, onboarding choices, placement answers, lesson progress, goals, streaks, reminder preferences, offline learning data, sync state, mistake history, speaking practice metadata, and personalization signals used to recommend practice.

How We Use Information

We use this information to provide lessons, remember progress, recommend practice, support optional account sync, maintain streaks and goals, and restore learning state across sessions.

Account and Guest Mode

You can use core learning features as a guest without creating an account. Account creation is optional and is used for signed-in learning sync and account recovery.

Microphone and Notifications

Microphone permission is used only for optional pronunciation and speaking practice. Notification permission is used only for optional study reminders. Core lessons remain available if these permissions are declined.

Service Providers

Mongolish uses Supabase for managed authentication and signed-in sync. Apple platform services may process app installation, crash, purchase, or review-related information according to Apple policies.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account or guest data inside the app from Home > Account & Privacy. Guest data deletion removes local learning data from the device. Signed-in account deletion requests deletion of the account and associated learning data from the backend and removes local data from the device.

Data Retention

Guest data is retained on the device until the app is deleted or the user deletes guest data. Signed-in account data is retained while the account is active unless deletion is requested.

Children

Mongolish is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
